The Generalitat Firefighters responded to four minor incidents in Central Catalonia this Thursday as strong wind gusts swept through the Bages and Berguedà regions.

In Manresa, emergency services dealt with a fallen tree on Josep Arola street and crumbling facade plaster on Sant Fruitós street. Another tree fell in Talamanca, and debris was cleared from the C-16 highway. No personal injuries have been reported during these operations.
Data from Meteocat confirmed a peak gust of 85 km/h at the Montserrat station. Civil Protection has activated the Ventcat alert plan, warning that winds could exceed 100 km/h in some areas until Friday, particularly in the Pyrenees.
