The Talamanca City Council has decided to postpone the Winter Festival events scheduled for this weekend following the death of Josep Pascuet Obradors, a prominent local figure.

Josep Pascuet had been running the restaurant Les Voltes de Talamanca since 2013 alongside his wife, Yolanda Piñeiro. Although he was officially retired, he remained deeply involved in the business and the daily life of this village in the Bages region.

"He was a very well-known and open person who listened to and helped everyone. In short, exemplary."

Talamanca City Council · Official statement
Mayor Salvador Mañé highlighted Pascuet's constant dedication to the community and his active role in organizing local festivities. The decision to halt the festival reflects the deep impact his passing has had on the residents of Talamanca.
