The sporting, recreational, and cultural morning, organized by Trapelles del Mig-Món, transformed the streets and squares of the old town into a race circuit featuring qualifying rounds that finished in the Plaça Major of Poble Vell. Most participants followed the organizers' recommendation and wore period costumes.
The event gathered various characters dressed as residents of Súria from the time of the 1885 cholera epidemic, including Mayor Joan Santamaria, Rector Jaume Soler, washerwomen, and gravediggers. The prize ceremony was led by Mayor Santamaria and his wife.
The Cur(s)a del Còlera concluded with a musical aperitif performed by the Cobla Jovenívola de Sant Sebastià, a musical ensemble formed specifically for the occasion with local musicians. A new issue of the publication Crònica del Còlera was also presented, featuring news from 1885 and other articles of interest.
The celebration was supported by the Associació de Veïns del Poble Vell, Foment Cultural, and the Ajuntament de Súria. Separately, pianist and composer Mateu Peramiquel offered a concert titled El lloc d’on surten les cançons (The place where songs come from) at the Església Parroquial de Sant Cristòfol, performing pieces from his musicals accompanied by Ares Lara, Carla Miralda, Arnau Camps, Mar Puig, and Vinyet Morral.
