Traumatologist Dolors Rosinés honored with the 2026 Maria Casajuana Award

The award recognizes her professional excellence at Althaia Foundation and her international medical cooperation in Africa.

Doctor Dolors Rosinés i Cubells has been named the winner of the 2026 Maria Casajuana Award in Manresa, recognizing her professional achievements and her dedication to international healthcare cooperation.

Organized by ERC Manresa to mark International Women's Day, this award honors the legacy of social activist Maria Casajuana. It celebrates the persistence and contribution of women to the social and professional life of Catalonia.
Rosinés has been working at the Althaia Foundation in Manresa since 1992. She is currently the Clinical Head of Surgery and Traumatology and a professor at the International University of Catalonia. Her career includes humanitarian missions in Senegal, Cameroon, and Sierra Leone.
The ceremony will take place on March 5th at 7:00 PM at the Els Carlins theater. Since its inception in 2002, the Maria Casajuana Award has recognized 24 influential women from the city.
