This initiative by UManresa seeks to encourage research among pre-university students, focusing on the institution's three core areas of expertise: health sciences, education, and economics and business.
The awards are sponsored by Denso Barcelona, Control Group, and Occident. The total financial endowment is 3,000 euros for students and 450 euros for the educational centers.
Each winning project will receive 700 euros, and the runner-up will get 300 euros. Furthermore, awardees receive free tuition for the first year of any degree course at the Faculties of Health Sciences and Social Sciences in Manresa, excluding Medicine and Dentistry programs.
High schools can submit up to three projects per category before the deadline of March 31, 2026. The jury will include UManresa faculty, a secondary school teacher, and a representative from the sponsoring company for each category. The awards have a strong history, having received over 1,000 submissions across the previous 24 editions.
