With the drop in temperatures, the winter season sparks interest in snow sports. Catalunya boasts a wide range of options, with 19 ski resorts spread across the Pyrenees of Girona and Lleida. To promote sustainable access to the slopes, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC) and Rodalies have once again made the combined ticket offers, known as 'Skitren' and 'TreNatura', available to users.
These combined tickets allow skiing at the La Molina and Vall de Núria slopes with savings that can reach 30% compared to purchasing the services separately. The 'Skitren' pass for La Molina is priced at 53 euros for adults and 41.50 euros for children.
The La Molina ticket includes the round trip on the R3 line trains from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat to La Molina station, the bus from the train station to the slopes, and the one-day ski pass with insurance included. The 'Skitren' Vall de Núria ticket includes the round trip on the R3 line to Ribes de Freser, the rack railway (cremallera) to the valley, and the one-day ski pass. This option is priced at 47.70 euros for adults and 40.20 euros for children.
Both 'Skitren' products will be available for purchase on the Renfe website and at Rodalies de Catalunya stations until April 5, 2026.
For users who wish to enjoy the mountains without skiing, the 'TreNatura' option includes the train ticket to Ribes de Freser and the round trip on the Vall de Núria Rack Railway. This pass, priced at 40.20 euros for adults and 30.70 euros for children, is available daily until November 30, 2026, although during November of next year it can only be used on weekends and holidays.
