Catalan host Jordi Évole returns to laSexta with the seventh season of his show Lo de Évole, featuring guests like Iñaki Urdangarin, about whom he believes the treatment received was unfair.

The new season of Lo de Évole premieres today on laSexta, maintaining its position as the most-watched program on the channel for the sixth consecutive year. Featured guests include singer Manuel Carrasco, actress Alba Flores, and the former Duke of Palma, Iñaki Urdangarin.

"I believe that at the time he was a kind of scapegoat in a very complicated situation that a Spanish institution like the Royal House was experiencing. He was the one who stopped the first blow."

Évole confessed that he had been trying to interview Urdangarin for a long time. The journalist believes the former athlete experienced a very powerful narrative shift, going from being an ideal son-in-law to a rejected person, and he wants to hear his side of the story.
Regarding the show's tone, Évole seeks to move away from political tension, although he does not rule out having some political guests. His goal is to offer a space where people speak calmly and can share "a little bit of the humanity" that his guests convey.
The host also defended the documentary about Eduardo Casanova living with HIV, pointing out that the social stigma surrounding this condition has not been overcome since the 90s. Furthermore, he mentioned that he has given up on interviewing Isabel Díaz Ayuso, but remains interested in international figures like Bad Bunny or Delcy Rodríguez.
