FC Barcelona coach Hansi Flick cemented his reputation as a final winner by achieving his eighth consecutive title, the third with the Catalan club, after defeating Real Madrid in the 2026 Spanish Super Cup.

The German coach, known for his effectiveness in decisive duels, has achieved perfection with a record of eight finals played and eight won. After adding five titles with Bayern Munich, Flick has achieved a clean sweep with Barça, winning three consecutive finals against Real Madrid: the 2025 Super Cup (5-2), the 2025 Copa del Rey (3-2), and the 2026 Super Cup (3-2).

"It is not because of the coach but because of the team I have. I feel very proud, Barça won with its style."

Hansi Flick · FC Barcelona Coach
This streak of three consecutive victories against the eternal rival is unprecedented in the history of the Catalan club. The success is attributed to a "blood transfusion" in the locker room, where the team has absorbed Flick's reliability, while the coach has adopted a more "Mediterranean" character. President Joan Laporta praised the German's management, noting that his personal gamble has been as successful as that of Guardiola in 2008.

"I was leaving the club, I had one foot out. He spoke to me and told me I would be an important player. Flick changed my life."

Raphinha · FC Barcelona Player and Final Hero
Brazilian forward Raphinha, who scored two goals in the last final and was named the best player of the Clásico, was the perfect example of the confidence injected by Flick. Meanwhile, Real Madrid, who saw Kylian Mbappé barely touch the ball and fail to shoot on goal, takes refuge in victimhood, while Barça consolidates its domestic hegemony in direct duels of the 21st century.
