The initiative, promoted by the Santa Clara Convent Foundation, seeks to provide vital operational resources to the Ukrainian population. The convoy's departure is set for February 20, a symbolic date as it marks the fourth anniversary of the start of the Russian invasion.
Sister Lucía Caram explained at a press conference that they currently have seven ambulances, but they aspire to reach fifteen. To achieve this goal, organizers have called for collaboration from civil society, foundations, and the business world through donations.
The objective is to use the convoy to provide necessary operational resources to Ukraine, such as ambulances, pick-up trucks and 4x4s, defibrillators, or medical emergency backpacks.
The requested contributions will finance the purchase of crucial equipment and vehicles. This includes not only ambulances but also 4x4 and pick-up vehicles, in addition to defibrillators and medical emergency backpacks, which are essential for rapid response in conflict zones.
