The incident was recorded at 8:41 AM when a vehicle suffered a solo accident on the C-55, as confirmed by the Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters). The crash specifically occurred on the stretch known as the Sant Pau descent.
Due to the impact, it was necessary to close the southbound lane of the road, causing significant traffic congestion in the area. The closure remained in effect until emergency services were able to remove the damaged car from the road.
Emergency services responded quickly. The driver was already out of the vehicle upon their arrival and presented minor injuries. Up to two units of the Bombers de la Generalitat were dispatched to the scene to manage the incident and secure the area.
