The Agustí Soler i Mas Auditorium in Navarcles hosted yesterday, Sunday, the award ceremony for the Pere Casaldàliga Prize for Solidarity, which this year recognized the International Cooperation Group of Althaia.

The awarded entity has been recognized for its work in favor of healthcare access, through its decade-long twinning with the Saint Jean de Dieu Hospital in Thiès, Senegal. This collaboration allows the Manresa-based entity to provide medical, technical, training, and scientific support to the Senegalese center's staff, aiming to make it a reference hospital for specialties in the country's northern region.
The award was presented by journalist and public diplomacy expert Eric Hauck. The gala also featured the participation of the Ballet Jove de Navarcles, directed by Loli Rubio.
