The confrontation, corresponding to Group C-B of Tercera FEB, was a key duel at the top of the standings. The Navàs team managed to defeat their rival in the final moments, overturning a situation that had become adverse after Mollet took the lead in the last quarter.
Local dominance was evident for much of the match, especially thanks to a defensive wall that kept DM Group Mollet below 70 points, when their usual average is eighty. This solidity was complemented by overwhelming control of the rebound (48 for Navàs versus 38 for the rival).
Perimeter accuracy was decisive. Players Bataller (16 points) and Montagut (11 points) were crucial in sealing the triumph. Although coach Isidre Suau's team had built a ten-point lead after the break, turnovers allowed Mollet to revitalize and jeopardize the victory.
Ultimately, the greater composure and clarity shown by CB Navàs in the final moments, combined with the unconditional support of the Municipal Sports Pavilion, allowed them to close the score with partials 20-17, 35-31, 55-46, and the final result 70-64.
