The gathering, held at midday and in the afternoon, also served as the venue to announce the creation of the Consell Municipal de les Persones Grans (Municipal Council for the Elderly). This new participation body of the Sallent City Council aims to give a voice to the older population of the municipality.
During the event, dissemination was also given to the “Dinars Acompanyats” (Accompanied Meals) project, an initiative managed by the Community Health Agents group.
