The Cruïlla Festival has unveiled the full lineup for its 16th edition, featuring 53 artists performing at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona from July 8 to 12.

This edition, taking place from July 8 to 12 at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona, stands out for the presence of figures rooted in the 90s such as Garbage, Suede, The Black Crowes, and Faithless, combined with contemporary acts like Halsey, Reneé Rapp, and the sonic hybridization of Jon Batiste. These names join the 53 total artists, including the previously announced Pixies, David Byrne, Two Door Cinema Club, and Bomba Estéreo.

"The commitment is to free and independent artists, with punk, jazz, and roots ascendance, in contrast to the low-quality productions and frivolous lyrics perceptible in the mainstream."

Jordi Herreruela · Cruïlla Director
Festival director Jordi Herreruela explained during the presentation at the former Estrella Damm factory that the lineup follows three clear lines: the commitment to independent artists, young talent offering "another vision of the world," and a general "festive, danceable, and fun" tone.
Among the most anticipated performances is the Spain debut of Jon Batiste, winner of several Grammy awards. The Garbage performance is part of what the band, led by Shirley Manson and Butch Vig (producer of the album Nevermind), is announcing as the last tour of their career. Suede will compensate the audience who missed out on tickets for their Cruïlla Hivern cycle concert, while Faithless returns after 10 years.
Regarding local talent, the festival will host the debuts of Catalan pop classics like Mishima and Mazoni, as well as the latest idol from Castelldefels, Alizzz. Also present will be Els Pets, celebrating their 40th anniversary, and prominent figures such as Rigoberta Bandini and Sen Senra. The musical budget for the lineup amounts to about 10 million euros, with six or seven artists still pending announcement in February.
