The judoka from Bages, Guillem Lozano, representing the Esport7 club, secured the bronze medal in the under 100 kg category at the Spanish Junior Championships held in Pamplona.

The young athlete from Sant Fruitós de Bages, competing with Esport7, demonstrated a high level in the U-21 competition that took place in Pamplona. Lozano achieved three victories and suffered only one defeat, specifically in the semifinal match, which forced him to compete for the consolation final.
After receiving a bye in the first round, Lozano defeated Mario Bustinza from Madrid and Aritz Lavado from Navarra. In the semifinals, he faced the second favorite, Daniel Lago from Galicia, who won the bout. For the bronze medal, the athlete from Bages defeated Antonio Aixel Ramírez from the Canary Islands, the top-ranked competitor in the Cups ranking, by ippon thanks to an excellent sweep.
In the same event, Luca de Palma, also from Esport7 and the Bages i Moianès High Performance Center, finished fifth in the under 70 kg category, achieving a finalist position. Her bronze medal match was particularly close; despite projecting her opponent, Leire Alias from Aragon, and scoring a wazaari, she was subsequently immobilized, which resulted in her defeat.
The participation of Berta Domínguez (under 63 kg) and Dumi Croitor (under 73 kg) was also noteworthy, despite both still being in the cadet category.
