This increase is lower than the 8.32% projected in 2022 in the Master Plan. The reduction was made possible by subsidies for network improvements, totaling nearly 2 million euros. The adjustment is made in a context of drought, with reduced consumption and lower service revenues.
The tariff proposal considers the evolution of operating costs, projected revenues, and investment needs to ensure the service's sustainability. For example, a household consuming 35 cubic meters per quarter will see its bill increase by approximately 3 euros per quarter.
The tariff update is accompanied by the 2027 Water Supply Network Replacement and Improvement Plan, with interventions valued at 311,400 euros. These actions aim to renew and enhance facilities and increase service efficiency.
The economic planning also incorporates subsidies for network renovation, implementation of remote reading meters, leak detection, and installation of photovoltaic energy generation systems.
