The initiative offered citizens the chance to discover key heritage sites and delve into the historical relationship between vines, wine, and local identity. The program combined culture, history, wine tourism, and community engagement for all attendees.
Activities included guided tours of Món Sant Benet, exploring its medieval and modernist heritage. In parallel, the Museum of the Memory of the Vine and Wine and the Museum of the Old Rectory opened their doors to showcase local history and traditions.
A walk through the wine heritage allowed participants to discover the landscape and elements related to vine cultivation. The day also featured a tasting of white wines from the DO Pla de Bages, highlighting regional production and local products.
The celebration included a popular dinner to commemorate the anniversary of the Historical Research Collective and a performance of traditional Catalan songs (havaneres) by the group De Gairó, concluding with a traditional spiced rum drink.
Through this program, Sant Fruitós de Bages joined the European Heritage Days, an initiative that promotes the knowledge, dissemination, and preservation of cultural heritage.
