Sant Fruitós de Bages hosted a new edition of the Mercat de la Terra last Saturday at the Cobert de la Màquina de Batre, focusing on promoting the Ganxet bean, despite low attendance due to rain.

As is customary every third Saturday of the month, the Cobert de la Màquina de Batre in Sant Fruitós de Bages hosted the Mercat de la Terra (Earth Market). This edition highlighted the promotion and tasting of the famous Ganxet bean, an emblematic local product.
The day was affected by adverse weather conditions, including rain, cold, and wind, which led to a reduction in the number of attendees. Nevertheless, the morning was entertained by the performance of the animator Maria Navarrete and live music from the guitarist and singer Marina.
Visitors who came to the event had the opportunity to enjoy a prepared bean tasting, in addition to browsing the various stalls offering seasonal and local garden produce.
