The municipality of Sant Joan de Vilatorrada celebrates its 2026 Carnival next Saturday, February 14, featuring a full program including electronic vermouth, a popular lunch, the traditional parade, and evening concerts.

The celebration will start at 11:30 AM in Parc Llobet with an electronic vermouth session organized by the Associació Musical Vilatorrada, featuring various DJs and free vermouth. This will be followed by a popular lunch offering fideuà (€12) or macaroni (€8), with tickets available until Friday, February 13, at several local points of sale.
The central event will be the traditional carnival parade (rua), starting at 4:30 PM, also at Parc Llobet. The troupes will parade through the town's streets. The City Council organizes the costume contest, which will award prizes in five categories, including best group, family, and individual costumes.
The party will conclude at the Cal Gallifa cultural hall starting at 8:00 PM. The event, organized by VilatorratsGrup, will feature a concert by Rec Play, offering Spanish pop-rock and rumba covers, followed by the performance of DJ Jaume Delis, who will close the night with the best hits of all time.
Admission to the closing party is five euros (donation) or eight euros (including sausage/botifarra). Children under 12 years old have free access, while minors under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
