The collision between two vehicles occurred on Friday morning, shortly before 10:30 AM, on the Santpedor road, specifically at number 172, within the urban area of Manresa, the capital of Bages.

As a result of the impact, one person became mechanically trapped inside one of the vehicles. Although the entrapment did not cause additional injuries, it required the intervention of the Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters).

The Firefighters deployed a single vehicle to carry out the extrication of the victim. Once freed, it was confirmed that the injuries were minor.

The injured person was treated by the Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) (Medical Emergency System), which diagnosed whiplash as the main injury resulting from the collision.
