The Cambrils City Council hosted an institutional reception to honor the Women's Veteran team of Club Rem Cambrils, which achieved the runner-up title in the Spanish Championship of Mediterranean boat racing. The mayor, Oliver Klein, and the Councilor for Sports, Gemma Balanyà, welcomed the eleven rowers, accompanied by the coxswain, coach, and technical director.
The event, held in the Council Chamber, served to recognize the sporting achievement of the rowers, who have brought the name of Cambrils to a national podium. Also attending were the president of Club Rem Cambrils, Víctor Ortiz de Pinedo, other members of the entity, and relatives of the athletes.
The significance of the success was highlighted, achieved by a veteran women's team that balances training and competition with their personal, family, and professional responsibilities, becoming role models for other women and young people.

The club's motto, “Every stroke counts!”, was recalled, summarizing the essence of a sport where individual performance only makes sense when contributing to a shared goal. The event concluded with institutional congratulations for the club's contribution to the growth of sports and the promotion of collective values in Cambrils.
