The Cambrils City Council has approved the installation of four adapted restroom modules on the seafront promenade, which will be operational year-round to complement seasonal services.

The project, integrated into the Cambrils, Vila Marinera Sostenible initiative, has a maximum budget of 306,423 euros, financed by the European Next Generation-EU funds. Work is expected to be carried out during the spring, with an execution period of two months.
These new fixed infrastructures will be located in landscaped areas along the promenade, complementing the mobile public toilets at the beach bars, which only operate during the tourist bathing season.
The modules will be adapted for people with reduced mobility. The two prefabricated modules in the west will be installed at l’Ardiaca and La Llosa beaches, while those in the east will serve El Cavet and Vilafortuny.
The restrooms will feature an adapted walkway, an outward-opening door, level interiors, and lighting with LED lamps and presence detectors, improving service for athletes and citizens who use the promenade regularly throughout the year.
