The Voluntariat per la llengua (VxL) has started the new quarter in Cambrils with the formation of 12 new language pairs, who were introduced on October 26 at the Cultural Center. These join the 10 pairs continuing from the previous quarter, bringing the total to 22 active pairs.

The new pairs received instructions on how the program works and support materials during the presentation event. The VxL program aims to promote the use and knowledge of the Catalan language through weekly meetings.
In addition to individual meetings, VxL offers complementary activities to practice Catalan. Among these is the discussion group Fem-la petar, which meets every Wednesday from 6 PM to 8 PM at Restaurant Vil·la Paquita. As a new addition this course, the Easy Reading Club has been created, taking place on Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Cultural Center.
These initiatives demonstrate that the Language Volunteering goes beyond scheduled sessions, offering multiple opportunities to speak Catalan outside the classroom, thereby gaining fluency and confidence. The program's acceptance in Cambrils remains high with a total of 22 active pairs.
