The festival, held from September 5th to November 1st, featured artistic interventions in various municipalities of Gavarres under the theme «Rebrollar» (Sprouting). The edition concluded with DOLL, a contemporary dance and performance piece by the company Lanormal-Sira Aymerich, at Can Vilallonga in Cassà de la Selva.
The concept «Rebrollar» was central to this edition, focusing on the landscape's adaptability and its response to climate change, viewing natural growth as an expression of resilience against climatic fragility.
Over nearly two months, artists developed interventions in Girona, Celrà, Cassà de la Selva, Llagostera, and Monells, fostering a dialogue between art, landscape, and current environmental challenges. In Celrà, performances were by Babeus, Jordà Farré, and the collective Natura és Cultura. In Girona, artists included Atelier Darn, Javier Domènech, María Eugenia Diego, Mónica Gener, and Jaume Geli & Marta Darnés. In Monells, contributions came from Bussoga, Lluís Heras Didi, Tramats, and Max Rutgers. In Llagostera, Mascanada6 and Paula Pozo participated. In Cassà de la Selva, Oriol Piferrer and Manel Gràvalos presented their work.
Parallel activities were also programmed, such as Gatzara Forestal in the valley of Sant Daniel, featuring Paula Bruna, Niño de Elche, and Beyonda. In Monells, the dance of Azucena Momo and music by Oriol Marés enhanced the artistic itinerary.
The performance DOLL, created by Lanormal-Sira Aymerich, closed the festival at Can Vilallonga. The work pays homage to the Dona-arbre (Woman-tree) action (1973) by Catalan artist Fina Miralles, who previously presented Entorn de l’arbre at the festival in 2019. The closing event was co-produced with the Casa de Cultura de Girona.
