The Days, organized by the Early Childhood Network, had to be partially postponed due to a rain alert, finally taking place on October 1, 22, 23, and 28. The initiative combined spaces for reflection, participation, and learning with recreational activities to promote a kind and inclusive view of early childhood.
A new feature this year was the introduction of a free childcare service for children aged 1 to 8, making it easier for families to access adult-oriented activities. The "Let's Build the Early Childhood We Want Together" Community Family Space was also established, bringing together about twenty people and generating ideas for future actions. The next meeting for this space will be on November 5th at 5 PM at the Municipal Senior Center, with childcare provided.
The family day on Friday, October 23rd, at Parc del Pinaret, attracted over a hundred people who enjoyed play areas, creative activities, and a storytelling session. This event was designed to encourage shared play and coexistence, becoming a space for intergenerational encounters.
The Days concluded on October 28th with an online conference by early childhood expert Romina Pérez Toldi on setting limits and communication in child-rearing, offering practical tools for respectful parenting. The recording will be available online for a month.
The Early Childhood Days are an initiative of the Cambrils Early Childhood Network, comprising municipal services, professionals, and entities working together to promote the well-being of children and their families, reinforcing the commitment to a more inclusive municipality.
