The magical day began at 6 AM on Tuesday, when Their Majesties and their entourage started distributing the presents requested in the letters. This effort covered more than 1,000 houses in the town, completing the work done during the night following the Cavalcade (parade), which lasted until 1:30 AM.
The Cavalcade, held the previous night, was marked by intense cold and the presence of light snowflakes. The event concentrated most of the public on the Rambla, moving away from the maritime area. The local council and organizing entities noted a slight decrease in participation in the annual letter collection.
“"The Cavalcade waited until the last moment due to the weather and the administration did not take risks, but everything went well."
The president of La Triple, the association of former students of the La Salle de Cambrils school which has organized the event for 73 years, Alfred Sarrà, gave a positive assessment of the operation, emphasizing that there were no incidents. The royal team started their route from the Cambrils Municipal Pavilion to ensure the safety and success of the distribution.
