The works will focus on a seven-kilometer stretch, between kilometer markers 849.6 and 856, passing through the municipalities of Pradell de la Teixeta (Priorat), Duesaigües, and Riudecols (both in Baix Camp).
The main intervention will involve cold recycling of the top nine centimeters of the existing pavement, followed by the application of a new five-centimeter thick layer.
Additionally, safety containment systems along the road's trunk will be upgraded, and horizontal and vertical signage, including road markings and delineation elements, will be restored.
This project is part of the Extraordinary Plan for the Improvement of State Road Network Surfaces, which has a total investment of 1,629 million euros.
