The Mont-roig del Camp City Council has expressed its deep regret over the acts of vandalism that have affected the municipal football field in recent nights. The damage caused will result in an unforeseen expense of over 8,000 euros for the municipal coffers.
Among the affected elements are doors, dressing room windows, benches, the electrical installation panel, the flooring, and other components of the sports equipment.
According to the City Council, groups of minors from the municipality who habitually access the field at night and turn on the lights have been identified. These individuals are considered possible perpetrators of the acts.
The council calls for responsibility and the involvement of families and all citizens to prevent such incidents from happening again. These acts not only generate significant economic costs but also cause inconvenience to users and hinder the normal operation of the facilities.
