The municipal company Aigües de Reus has launched its first infrastructure projects for 2026 to modernize water supply and sanitation networks throughout Reus.

Initial works are focused on Gandesa street, Sardana street, and Vilella passage. These interventions aim to upgrade both drinking water pipes and sewage systems to prevent future breakdowns.

"These investments seek to guarantee the long-term maintenance of the municipal water service, its efficiency, and sustainability."

Daniel Rubio · City Councilor for Water Services
The project will soon expand to the Montserrat neighborhood and areas like Abat Oliba square. The City Council confirmed that all works are fully funded by the company, meaning no additional costs for the affected residents.
