Around 360 young people from the Tarragona region gathered in Reus this February 28th to participate in the First Lego League, focusing on archaeological innovation.

Organized by the Rovira i Virgili University (URV) for fifteen years, the event aims to encourage scientific and technical careers. This year's theme challenged participants to use programming and robotics to solve historical and archaeological puzzles.
The competition featured two age categories where teamwork was essential. Students applied scientific research to overcome various technical obstacles, demonstrating the practical applications of engineering in modern society.

"It is a source of pride that there are such early vocations in engineering, especially among women. We see how the percentage of women is rising both at the School and in the First Lego League."
