The Vandellòs and l'Hospitalet de l'Infant City Council joins the European Mobility Week with a popular walk on Friday, September 18th, starting at 9:30 AM from Plaça dels Drs. Gil Vernet.

The aim of this initiative is to promote more sustainable, safe, and healthy mobility habits, as well as to raise public awareness about the importance of reducing pollution and improving air quality. The 2026 European Mobility Week's theme is "Mobility for All" and focuses on intergenerational justice, seeking to ensure access to quality and sustainable transport for all people and generations.
The popular walk will cover approximately 5 kilometers to Masboquera. Along the route, a refreshment stop is planned at Plaça Santa Isabel for participants to rest and hydrate. Upon completion, participants will return to Vandellòs.
This activity is part of a broader program that includes an urban cycling event in l'Hospitalet de l'Infant on Saturday, September 19th. The events are organized by the City Council's Mobility department, with collaboration from the municipal Sports Area and the Association of Civil Protection Volunteers.
