The La Palma hall in Reus hosts this Wednesday the De tu a tu university orientation fair, where 550 secondary students interact with URV students to address questions about degrees and academic life.

The event is primarily aimed at young people studying 4th ESO, Baccalaureate, or higher-level vocational training cycles from eight centers in Reus and one from the Baix Camp region. However, the fair is open to all audiences, including adults interested in resuming university education.

"The aim is for university students to meet young people who are about to decide their academic future and allow them to ask questions about the different degrees, the itineraries they offer, or even university life."

Daniel Marcos · Reus Youth Councillor

"We want to make it easier for all young people to find answers to continue their education and rule out abandoning their training."

Pilar López · Reus Education Councillor
The multipurpose hall of La Palma has been organized by study areas, offering informational panels and the possibility of taking a professional interest test to help attendees identify careers aligned with their profile.
The meeting is an initiative of the Oficina Jove del Baix Camp, with the participation of the Generalitat's Directorate General of Youth, the Comarcal Council, and the Reus City Council, forming part of the Pla Educatiu d'Entorn project. This event stems from the eponymous orientation days that the Youth and Education departments of the City Council have organized for five years.
