Mossos d'Esquadra have dismantled a significant marijuana plantation with 3,982 plants in a wooded area of La Febró, Baix Camp, arresting three men.

The officers arrested three men, aged between 18 and 35, as alleged perpetrators of drug trafficking and criminal group membership offenses. The police operation took place on Wednesday morning in a difficult-to-access wooded area within the municipality of La Febró.
During the operation, the Mossos discovered nearly 4,000 marijuana plants, each exceeding one meter in height, distributed across about thirty improvised greenhouses. The plantation was equipped with an irrigation system connected to an impermeable plastic basin dug into the ground.
Near the cultivation site, officers found a camp with tents where the detainees were staying. Food, clothing, backpacks, and phytosanitary products for crop protection and growth were found at the location. The individuals attempted to flee upon seeing the police but were quickly intercepted and arrested.
The Catalan police proceeded to dismantle the camp and all the plantation's infrastructure, with the relevant judicial authorization. The investigation remains open to determine if other similar crops exist in the area or if old plantations have been reactivated. The detainees are expected to be brought before the Reus court in the coming hours.
