Data provided by Aena also indicates that in the first half of the year, the airport has handled 575,872 travelers, a 10.3% increase from the same period in 2025. Regarding operations, 2,772 aircraft movements were recorded in June, a 6.1% rise from the previous year. The year-to-date total for movements reached 12,044, up 9.7%.
Compared to other Catalan airports managed by Aena, the Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat airport recorded 5,464,087 passengers and 34,284 operations in June. Girona-Costa Brava airport counted 297,787 travelers and 3,235 movements.
Finally, Sabadell airport managed 6,813 operations and 643 passengers during the same period.
