La Selva del Camp will host the third edition of Empelt, the Live Arts Festival, on Saturday, September 26, which this year will advocate for the importance of municipal cultural centers.

The Ponts de la Selva del Camp will be the venue, starting at 5 PM, for the festival aiming to highlight the work of municipal athenaeums, community centers, and recreational societies.
This year's poster, designed by the studio la Torreta de Tarragona and created with users from the association l'Alzina, reflects the festival's goal: to "issue a call" to revitalize social and cultural dynamism spaces. This call coincides with the centenary of the la Defensa Agrària theater in La Selva del Camp.

"Perhaps one day we will see the athenaeum fall."

One of the organizers, Arnau Martínez, has called for collaboration between administrations and members to find solutions that prevent these cultural projects from "fading away," warning of the risk of losing these spaces.
The detailed festival program will be announced soon, but Martínez has indicated it will follow a similar line to previous editions, evolving throughout the day from a younger, family-oriented audience towards a more youthful and adult demographic.
