The incident occurred at 06:17 AM, when five units from the Bombers de la Generalitat (Generalitat Firefighters) were dispatched to the scene. Residents of the building, which has a ground floor and 11 stories, had already self-evacuated to the exterior before the arrival of the crews.
The firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and subsequently inspected and ventilated all floors of the building to ensure residents' safety.
