The Guardia Civil has reactivated the investigation into the violent death of a 38-year-old resident of Riudoms, whose remains were found in Olesa de Montserrat in 2005, requesting public cooperation.

The armed institute has released a photograph of the victim and images of a man using her bank card at an ATM in Terrassa on April 9, 2005, the day after she was last seen alive. They also published an image of a fragment of a t-shirt with the inscription 'Fun and Friends Alternative Energy Pub League' found at the crime scene.
The investigation began on August 6, 2005, when human remains were found inside several plastic bags in Sant Pere Sacama, a wooded area of Olesa de Montserrat (Baix Llobregat). Forensic reports determined that the woman, who would be 58 today, had died violently.
Although the body could not initially be identified, the Guardia Civil Criminalistics Service managed to determine the victim's identity through the Fénix genetic identification program for missing persons, promoted by the University of Granada. It was confirmed that she was the resident of Riudoms, whose disappearance had been reported to the National Police station in Reus on April 9, 2005.
Forensic analysis revealed that the victim had a fracture in her left cheekbone, compatible with a blunt force trauma, and an orifice in her right shoulder blade, possibly caused by a projectile. The Organic Unit of Judicial Police (UOPJ) keeps the investigation open and seeks public collaboration to fully clarify the circumstances of the death and identify those responsible.
