The company La Teca Teatre and the Department of Culture of the Cambrils City Council have donated €1,550 to Caritas, raised through the inverse box office of two performances of the comedy play 'El carrer de les Petxines, 14'.

The funds, split equally between Càritas Sant Pere and Càritas Santa Maria, were received by Dolors Sabaté, representing Caritas, in the form of two cheques for €775 each. This donation is part of an ongoing collaboration since 2017.
The performances of the play, written by Vicente Cañón Verdasco, took place on June 3rd and 4th at the Teatre del Casal Parroquial, as part of the 67th edition of the Fira de Cambrils.
La Teca Teatre, a Cambrils-based company founded in 1966 as the Grup de Teatre del Casal, has evolved over the years, seeking new forms of expression with incisive and humorous texts.
The play 'El carrer de les Petxines, 14' addresses current issues such as housing, job precarity, gender diversity, and interpersonal conflicts, through comical situations, stereotypes, and surprises designed to resonate with the audience.
