The incident occurred around noon this Saturday in one of the rooms of the dwelling. The Bombers de la Generalitat (Catalan Firefighters) quickly activated five units to control and extinguish the flames.

The Sistema d’Emergències Mèdiques (SEM) (Medical Emergency System) mobilized three ambulances to assist the victims. A minor was transported to Hospital de Reus in a less serious condition, while two other individuals were treated and discharged at the scene.

Following the extinction, the crews carried out ventilation tasks both in the affected apartment and the neighbors' stairwell. The Firefighters confirmed that no structural damage occurred to the building.

This incident follows another fire registered during the early hours of the same Saturday on Lepant Street in the same municipality.
