The group aims to act as a single voice before the Government of Catalonia. Members include the Gremi de la Pagesia Catalana and the Consorci Forestal de Catalunya. They want to ensure that environmental protection does not hinder traditional farming and forestry activities.

Governance is a key issue, as 88% of the land is privately owned. The park will cover 38,900 hectares across 22 municipalities. The official decree is expected to be published in the DOGC this March, with final approval slated for the summer.
