The body was located in a building on Sant Antoni Maria Claret street. The victim lived in a shared apartment where rooms are rented out to several different tenants.

Initial police reports suggest that while there were no stab or gunshot wounds, the body showed several bruises and injuries consistent with physical assault or blunt force trauma.

The Criminal Investigation Division is currently working to determine the exact cause of death and whether foul play was involved in the incident.
