Reus Airport reported a significant 34.1% increase in passenger traffic this February, reaching 681 travelers, alongside a 9.4% rise in aircraft operations.

According to Aena, the airport managed 1,298 operations during the month. Despite this monthly growth, the total figures for the first two months of 2026 show a 4.1% decrease in aircraft movements, with a total of 2,360 flights recorded so far.
The overall decline is attributed to a poor performance in January, when passenger numbers fell by 57.3% and operations dropped by 16.8%. Airport authorities stated that these earlier losses were primarily caused by adverse weather conditions.
