The Department of Economic Promotion, Innovation and Knowledge of the Reus City Council has prepared a program of activities to celebrate Europe Day on May 9, aiming to highlight peace, unity, and European cooperation.

The celebrations will begin on Monday, May 11, with the inauguration of the exhibition Europe, Our Common Space at the Pere Anguera Library. This interactive display will explore the development of social rights and freedoms across the continent, offering a local perspective on improving quality of life in municipalities and provinces.
On Tuesday, May 12, REDESSA Tecno will host an event to recognize three local companies—Preciber, Aker Biomarine, and Embex—for their European projection and commitment. The Gaudí Institute, recognized as an Ambassador School of the European Parliament, will also be honored for its educational work.
Finally, on Thursday, May 21, the Pere Anguera Library will host the storytelling session Kalopsia, a family activity designed to introduce European values to the city's youngest residents.
