Reus, epicenter of women's basketball with the Junior Final Four

The city will host the semifinals and final of the Catalan Junior Women's Preferent Championship 2025-26 on April 11 and 12.

The city of Reus is set to host the Final Four of the Catalan Junior Women's Preferent Championship 2025-26 on April 11 and 12, solidifying its role as the Capital of Women's Basketball.

The Pavelló Olímpic Municipal in Reus will be the venue for this significant sporting event, bringing together four of the most prominent teams in the category: Loquillo Femení Sant Adrià A, CBS Fem U18, Sabadell BQ Vallès U18F, and Joventut Badalona A. This competition is a central part of Reus's activities as the Capital of Women's Basketball throughout 2026.
The organization of the Final Four is managed by the Catalan Basketball Federation (FCBQ), with the collaboration of the Reus City Council and the FCBQ's Territorial Representation in Tarragona. The previous edition, in 2025, saw Bàsquet Girona - Uni Laia Palau U18 crowned champions after defeating Joventut Badalona A in Vilafranca del Penedès.
The semifinals will take place on Saturday, April 11, with matches scheduled for 10:45 AM and 12:30 PM. The teams facing off in the first semifinal will be CBS Fem U18 and Sabadell BQ Vallès U18F, while the second semifinal will feature Loquillo Femení Sant Adrià A and Joventut Badalona A. The winners of these matches will advance directly to the grand final.
The final is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, at 12:30 PM. Prior to that, at 10:45 AM, the match for third and fourth place will be played, which will secure a spot in the Spanish Junior Women's Championship. The top three teams from this Final Four will earn their ticket to the national championship, which will be held in Huelva, Aljaraque, Punta Umbría, and Palos de la Frontera from April 26 to May 2, 2026.
All Final Four matches, including the semifinals, the third-place match, and the final, will be available for live streaming via the La Xarxa+ platform, ensuring maximum coverage of the event.
