The municipal company Aigües de Reus has launched its first infrastructure projects of 2026 in Reus, involving a total investment of 2.3 million euros.

The works focus on improving supply and sanitation networks in areas such as Gandesa street and Sardana street. These interventions are fully funded by the municipal water company, meaning affected residents will not face any additional charges.

"The investments are not limited to addressing emergencies and breakdowns, but also aim to guarantee the long-term maintenance of the service."

The 2026 plan also includes projects for water resource recovery and the use of non-potable water for irrigation in public parks and gardens.
