The Reus City Council has released a report on Tecnoparc, confirming its role as an innovation leader with 4,500 professionals and 3,300 students currently active in the district.

The 140-hectare technology park in Reus has become a major talent magnet. According to REDESSA, the site hosts 216 companies specialized in health, agrifood, and engineering, supported by Rovira i Virgili University (URV) and Eurecat.

"Capital status is not a gift, it is earned. It is time for the people of Reus to realize they live in a city that is a capital of knowledge."

Josep Baiges · City Councilor for Economic Promotion
Future plans for Tecnoparc include hosting the URV Faculty of Medicine and a new Technical Architecture degree. The district currently manages over 600 research activities per year, including 210 clinical trials.
