The Reus City Council has approved a new phase of its Road Resurfacing Plan, allocating 531,972 euros to improve safety and infrastructure across the city's street network.

For the second consecutive year, the investment exceeds half a million euros. The project focuses on seven key sections, including General Moragues Street, Terol Street, and Passeig Sunyer, aiming to fix cracks and potholes.

"Improving the asphalt is an investment in safety, efficiency, and sustainability as well-maintained infrastructure reduces accidents."

Daniel Marcos · City Councilor for Public Roads
The works are expected to take two and a half months once the contract is awarded. This initiative is part of a broader maintenance strategy for Reus, covering lighting, sidewalks, and playgrounds.
