Mayor Sandra Guaita presented this Monday, February 16th, a comprehensive program of over one hundred actions in Reus to commemorate the centenary of Antoni Gaudí's death.

The initiative aims to strengthen the city's identity as the birthplace of the world-renowned architect. Key highlights include the exhibition of the Gaudí Fund at the Reus Museum, which preserves rare sketches and personal notebooks. The program is supported by forty local entities and covers academic, cultural, and educational fields.

"Despite the sadness of not having physical heritage in Gaudí's city, only our city possesses this documentary legacy."

Additionally, a scientific symposium on March 14th will explore the creative dialogue between Gaudí and Lluís Domènech i Montaner, further establishing Reus as a hub for architectural study.
