The city of Reus is preparing to host the 16th edition of the Reus Viu el Vi fair and the 7th Vermut de Reus showcase, taking place at Sant Jordi Park from June 5th to 7th.

The Chamber of Commerce of Reus is already working on the preparations for the 16th edition of Reus Viu el Vi, the fair of the Designations of Origin (DO) of the Chamber's territory, which this year will be held together with the 7th showcase of Vermut de Reus. The event will take place on June 5th, 6th, and 7th at Sant Jordi Park. Access to the fair will require the purchase of one of the available packs.
Twenty wineries from eight DOs will participate in Reus Viu el Vi: Conca de Barberà, Montsant, Priorat, Terra Alta, Tarragona, and Catalunya (under the Chamber's umbrella), in addition to DO Cava and DO Penedès as guests. Regarding vermouth, ten recognized brands from the territory will be present, including Cori, Fot-li, Iris, Miró, Olave, Or del Camp, Rofes, Yzaguirre, Casa Vermouth Padró, and Dos Déus Vermouth. In total, almost 150 different references will be offered.
Local gastronomy will also have a prominent space with the participation of ten establishments: Jaleo, Tapeo de carrer, A Cullerades, Sabor de la Terra, Soho Sea Food, Forn Sistaré (winner of Ganxet Pintxo 2026), Cuina Moments, Carnisseria Meritxell, and QueKremós. This year, food sales will be made directly at the 'foodtrucks', without gastronomic packs, and cash payment will be accepted.
The president of the Chamber, Mario Basaora, highlighted that the fair serves to "showcase" the agro-food wealth and wine diversity, aiming to offer a "more refined" experience in a "festive and quality" atmosphere. The mayor of Reus, Sandra Guaita, emphasized that events like this "position" the city and the territory, celebrating public-private collaboration.
The Councilor for City Projection, Noemí Llauradó, described the fair as a "city event" that attracts visitors from the entire region, the province, and the country. Llauradó, also president of the Provincial Council of Tarragona, will be in charge of officially inaugurating the fair on Friday at 6:00 PM, with the presence of the Xiquets de Reus castellers group.
The fair's opening hours will be: Friday June 5th, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM; Saturday June 6th, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM; and Sunday June 7th, from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Access will be granted by purchasing a pack (with or without a glass, as glasses from the last two editions will be allowed). Minors will have free access when accompanied by a responsible adult (maximum two minors per adult). Tickets can be reserved in advance on the official website or purchased at the box office if available.
Available packs include: Wine Pack (glass, glass holder, 5 tastings, hat, program) for €17; Reduced Wine Pack (glass, glass holder, 2 tastings, hat, program) for €11; Vermouth Pack (glass, 2 tastings, chips, olives, hat, program) for €15; Reduced Vermouth Pack (2 tastings, glass) for €10; and 5 Tastings Pack (wine or vermouth, no glass) for €12. Tastings purchased within the fairgrounds must be paid exclusively by card.
Participating wineries include Agrícola Corbera d'Ebre, Celler Batea, Canals Nadal Caves i Vins, Cingles Blaus, Coca i Fitó, Enovitis, Celler de l'Era, Celler Hidalgo Albert, Celler la Botera, @laconilla.cat, Celler Mas de la Creu, Maset, Celler Rendé Masdéu, Celler Sabaté, Celler Totó Marqués, Cellers Unió, Celler Vins Danica, Vins i Caves Portell, and Viticultors Bateans.
The owner of Agrícola de Corbera d'Ebre, Judith Folch, noted that last year's participation increased both the audience and distributors. She highlighted the current situation in the wine sector, with accumulated stock due to a decline in wine consumption.
During the fair, there will be DJ sessions, with a special performance by Miqui Puig on Sunday afternoon, and children's activities such as the 'Paint Grape' workshop and crafts with cork stoppers.
As pre-fair activities, two tastings have been scheduled: on May 25th at the Espai Llotja ('Tasting of recovered regional grape varieties' by sommelier and journalist Joan Carrion) and on June 1st at the Fira Centre Comercial ('Uninhibited Tasting' by @laconilla.cat).
