The Generalitat Firefighters were called to action early this Monday morning in Reus following three separate container fires that caused minor damage to nearby parked vehicles.

The first emergency call was received at 02:18 AM from Mare de Déu de Puigcerver street. One fire crew attended the scene where three containers were completely destroyed. The heat from the blaze also caused minor damage to three cars parked nearby.
Shortly after, at 02:24 AM, a second fire was reported on Pere el Cerimoniós avenue. A bystander managed to use a fire extinguisher on a cardboard bin before the Firefighters arrived to secure the area and ensure the fire was fully out.
The final intervention occurred at 03:17 AM at Plaça de la Patacada. A single fire engine extinguished a paper container fire, concluding a busy night for emergency services in the Baix Camp capital.
